The $650 million Massachusetts Water Resource Authority Employees’ Retirement System issued an RFP for a value-add real estate mandate.
Officials are seeking a private closed-end value-add real estate fund and anticipate committing approximately $20 million.
The final close date for any proposed fund must be no later than May 31, 2022. MWRA said in the RFP announcement that to be preferred a proposed fund must be raising at least $200 million, however, lower amounts may be considered at the board of trustees’ discretion.
Proposals are due back on Jan. 17 . . .
