Allocators added over $11 billion in new mandates in November, according to Alternatives Watch Research’s November 2021 Investor Scorecard.
The tally is across private equity, credit, hedge fund and real estate strategies. Leading the way were credit allocations that totaled over $4 billion, followed by real estate at $3.7 billion and private equity at $3.3 billion.
Direct lending strategies continue to gain in popularity with investors such as insurance company American Equity Life Holding Company allocating $1 billion to Monroe Capital’s lending strategy.
