UTIMCO appoints new CIO

Rich Hall, the deputy CIO of University of Texas/Texas A&M Investment Company (UTIMCO,) has been appointed as the endowment’s CIO, effective January 1.

Hall will oversee UTIMCO's $68 billion portfolio and will be responsible for investment strategy and selection and risk management. Hall will report to Britt Harris, president, CEO, and current CIO, who will remain as UTIMCO's president and CEO.
