University of Illinois names new CIO

The $2.7 billion University of Illinois Foundation hired Vanderbilt University’s Travis Shore as its new chief investment officer.
Shore will officially take on the role later this spring, succeeding Edward “Ned” Creedon, who has been serving as interim CIO since last June following the departure of Ellen Ellison.
