An anesthesiologist by training, he became serious about venture capital after founding OFFOR Health, which provides access to anesthesia and other medical services. In that process, “I met a lot of different entrepreneurs who were exceptional at what they were doing who needed funded,” Goyal said. He also knew physicians who were interested in alternative investments but who could not access them.
