The board of the $73 billion Pennsylvania Public School Employees' Retirement System (PSERS) has approved the “emergency procurement” of an executive search firm to assist in searches for candidates for executive director, chief investment officer and chief counsel roles.
At its Jan. 13 meeting, the system’s board directed PSERS’ Office of Chief Counsel to engage Dublin, Ohio-based executive recruitment firm Hudepohl & Associates to manage the recruitments and to conduct compensation studies for the positions, according to fund documents.
