StanCERA bets on Melody for infrastructure

The retirement board of the approximately $2.8 billion Stanislaus County Employees’ Retirement Association (StanCERA) approved a $20 million commitment to Melody Communications Infrastructure Fund II, an infrastructure assets fund managed by New York’s Melody Investment Advisors, Stan Conwell, retirement investment officer at the pension fund.
The Melody Communications Infrastructure Fund II focuses on mission-critical communication infrastructure assets. The fund will seek to invest in telecommunication easements, wireless towers, and data centers primarily in the U.S. and Canada, according to fund documents.
