The $24 billion State Universities Retirement System of Illinois (SURS) in Champaign has instructed its consultant, Callan, to seek information from asset managers that provide real asset investment services in the private real estate, agriculture, and infrastructure classes, and to recommend to it selected firms throughout the year, according to SURS’ website.
