AW Research: World’s largest alts firms see historic income growth

Nowhere is the adage about how records are made to be broken more relevant than in private markets, where the largest firms in the space saw their net income growth per share skyrocket by 366%, according to recent data collected by Alternatives Watch Research.

Last year was one that saw eight of the largest global alternative investment firm’s assets grow to a combined $3.4 trillion, with a total of nearly $700 billion in new capital raised in 2021. This accounts for an average AUM growth of 33%.
