GI Partners announced this week one of the largest initial capital raises for an open-end real estate fund in recent years.
The GI Real Estate Essential Tech + Science (ETS) Fund closed with $1.45 billion in commitments in its initial fundraise, surpassing the San Francisco firm’s expectations. The fund is the firm’s first commingled real estate fund.
