UK firm Schroders has completed the purchase of a 75% stake in Greencoat Capital, one of the largest investment managers in Europe dedicated to the renewable infrastructure market.
As part of the deal, Greencoat will become part of Schroders Capital’s private markets division and will change its name to Schroders Greencoat. The $6.8 billion firm’s pioneering strategy is centered on large-scale renewable energy infrastructure investing, delivering 48% AUM growth over the past four years.
