Earlier this month, Apollo Global Management announced the closure of its second flagship fund, Apollo Hybrid Value Fund II (HVF II), with capital commitments totaling $4.6 billion.
The strategy is to provide flexible equity and debt capital solutions to companies, and the previous fund closed in 2019 at $3.3 billion. The team is focused on structuring capital preservation, attractive yield and equity upside, which has generated interest from sovereign wealth funds, pensions, endowments and other institutional investors and high-net-worth individuals, officials said.
