It wasn’t so long ago that there were as many alternative executives in airplanes or attending power lunches as there were working in the office.

We’re all easing back into physical meetings but want to be more intentional. Blair McPherson, head of capital introductions at Apex Group, wants managers to spend less time getting to know potential investors and more time working with them. After all, much of the work of introductory presentations and information updates can be transferred to the online setting, giving in-person meetings higher value.
