The Teachers' Retirement System of Texas in Austin has tapped two new funds for its private equity portfolio.
London-based Hg Pooled Management Limited received a $50 million commitment to its newly launched Hg Genesis 10 A, an international buyout fund that is targeting over $6 billion in assets. Other investors in the fund include the Connecticut Retirement Plans and Trust Funds, which allocated to the fund in January.
