Generation Investment Management announced the launch of a $1.7 billion fund focused on investing for a sustainable future.
The $36 billion firm’s Sustainable Solutions Fund IV is its largest growth equity fund yet, allowing the firm to invest $50 million to $150 million as active minority investors in high-growth companies that are shifting industries toward sustainability and responsible innovate at scale. The firm’s prior funds have deployed over $2 billion since 2008, partnering with companies such as AlayaCare, Asana, Back Market, Benevity, Convoy, Gusto, Pivot Bio and Toast.
