As the equity markets take a turn for the worse, it may just be a good time to be a hedge fund manager, or at the very least to be launching a new investment strategy.
According to Robert Mirsky, partner-in-charge of the London office and head of Eisner Amper’s Asset Management Group, hedge fund launches picked up in the second half of 2021. And after a minor lull in the early part of 2022, he suspects the third quarter will be a busy one for his team and for new hedge fund launches.
