Apollo Global Management, Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Holdings (SuMi TRUST), Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, and GreensLedge Capital Markets have formed a new strategic investment portfolio, anchored by a $1.5 billion investment by SuMi TRUST in a propriety portfolio of alternative assets managed by Apollo, according to an announcement from Sumitomo.
