The $280 billion New York State Common Retirement Fund continued to build up its alternative investment assets mostly with private equity strategies, including allocations within the absolute return program.
Private equity investments totaled $805 million in the month of May, which was recently disclosed by officials. In the private equity portfolio investments were: Vista Equity Partners VIII ($400 million) and S Capital III ($5 million).
