Rush Baker and Casey Myers have joined the expanding team at Edison Partners, which closed its Fund X earlier this year.
Baker joins as partner and head of investor relations from Snowbridge Advisors, a private fund placement platform specializing in private equity and debt fund advisory and capitalization. He will lead communications with existing and prospective limited partners.
Myers, who also joins as partner, will head the Edison Edge value creation platform that includes five operating centers of excellence, executive education programs, and a director network — all designed to help portfolio companies navigate, accelerate and scale growth. Most recently, he held several go-to-market leadership positions and led a multi-faceted sell-side process that resulted in a successful $100 million-plus private equity transaction at SundaySky. Earlier in his career, he helped Exstream Software grow revenues by five times in four years and successfully exit to Hewlett Packard.
“We’re focused on building ‘a forever firm,’ so it’s essential that we continue to add expertise to help us scale not only our AUM, but also how we partner with our portfolio companies in bringing more than capital to each investment,” said Chris Sugden, managing partner at Princeton, N.J.-based Edison Partners.
The hires follow the promotion of Kelly Ford to the chief operating officer at Edison Partners, which now totals $1.6 billion in assets under management.
