Hilbert Capital, the quantitative asset management arm of Sweden-based Hilbert Group, appointed Thierry Pudet as a senior quant strategist in a bid to boost the firm’s quantitative investment resources and advance the development of its systematic trading strategy.

Pudet joins following senior risk roles at Finisterre Capital, Citadel and Goldman Sachs. Following this hire, Hilbert has grown its investment team by 75% in the past 12 months to capitalize on unprecedented industry opportunities. Most recently, Pudet was chief risk officer at Finisterre Capital.
“Thierry provides an excellent combination of skillsets, which are ideal for our investment strategies,” said fellow Finisterre alum Richard Murray, CEO at Hilbert Capital. “His experience in risk management, his applied quantitative and mathematical background, and his advanced programming capabilities adds to our already significant quantitative investment resources.”
His hire follows that of Nick Yannakoyorgos, an industry veteran who joined from JP Morgan as a senior quantitative programmer.
