Private Equity

  • Paul Todd joined TTV Capital, an early-stage fintech venture capital firm, as a venture partner. Todd, who brings decades of executive leadership experience in the financial services industry, will help TTV Capital’s portfolio companies grow and scale their businesses, in addition to offering guidance to the firm’s partners regarding investment decisions. Todd served as Senior EVP and CFO at Global Payments before retiring last year. He also held previous positions as CFO at TSYS, where he was responsible for strategy, M&A, global product, and marketing, and as President and CEO of the Synovus Financial Management family of companies at Synovus. Todd will be based in Atlanta.
  • Avance Investment Management, a New York-based private equity firm that partners with founder-owned businesses in the services, technology, and consumer sectors, named Mark DeVincentis as a partner and head of Capital Formation and Investor Relations. DeVincentis brings more than 25 years of industry experience, serving most recently at Crescent Capital Group as managing director, head of Strategic Partnerships and Product Solutions, and as a member of the management committee. In that capacity, he oversaw business development, with a specific focus on establishing strategic partnerships with institutional plan sponsors. Prior to his time at Crescent Capital, DeVincentis worked in the Leverage Finance Group at the Trust Company of the West.
  • David Ligon is joining SG Consumer Partners as managing director, capital markets. In this role, Ligon will be responsible for overseeing the capital markets function and assisting the firm in creating tailored solutions for both new and existing partner companies. With nearly 40 years of leadership experience in the banking industry, Ligon most recently held the position of managing director and capital markets head at EastWest Bank, leading the sponsored lending group. Prior to that, Ligon, who began his career at Wells Fargo Bank, held senior leadership roles in leveraged finance at OneWest Bank, US Bank, Emporia Capital, and Union Bank.
  • Alice Hurh joined Waud Capital Partners, a growth-oriented middle-market private equity firm based in Chicago, as a principal in the Human Capital Team. In her new role, Hurh will spearhead executive recruitment efforts for WCP, in addition to providing support to the human capital initiatives of the firm’s existing portfolio companies. Prior to joining WCP, Hurh was a partner at Heidrick & Struggles’ healthcare services practice. With nearly 20 years of experience in executive search and talent advisory services, she has collaborated with corporate and private equity clients on CEO and board recruitment, succession planning, and broader talent strategies.
  • MidOcean Partners hired Ravi Saligram, former president and CEO of Newell Brands, as an operating partner. Saligram brings more than 35 years of executive experience from various industries to MidOcean. The firm expects Saligram’s experience across various sectors to help its portfolio companies unlock value. During his recent tenure at Newell Brands, the company regained its position on Fortune’s World’s Most Admired Companies list in both 2022 and 2023. Saligram previously held senior leadership positions at global companies including Newell Brands, OfficeMax, ARAMARK, Intercontinental Hotels Group, SC Johnson and Leo Burnett.

  • DigitalBridge Group announced two hires and two promotions within its senior management team. Francisco Sorrentino joins DigitalBridge as chief people officer, bringing over two decades of experience in areas including talent acquisition and employee engagement, including serving as chief human resources officer and operating partner at Softbank Group. Stephen Stryker joins the firm as chief information officer, succeeding the retiring Mark Serwinowski. Stryker, who was most recently chief technology officer at Värde Partners, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in technology infrastructure and digital transformation. Geoffrey Goldschein, who previously served as managing director and general counsel of DBRG’s Investment Management division, was appointed as chief legal officer and company secretary. In addition to leading DigitalBridge’s legal function, Goldschein will provide strategic guidance and ensure regulatory compliance in countries the where the firm operates. Lastly, Justin Chang, who has led DigitalBridge’s expansion into the APAC region as managing director, head of Asia, has been promoted to the role of senior managing director.
  • Lotus Infrastructure Partners, a Greenwich, Conn.-based investor and developer in the energy and infrastructure sectors, appointed Antonia Schwartz as its new head of investor relations. In this newly created role intended to enhance the company’s global capital raising efforts, Schwartz will collaborate closely with the executive team at Lotus Infra to formulate and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies. With over 20 years of experience in investor relations, she brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record in managing successful capital raising campaigns and building strong investor relationships. Prior to joining Lotus, Schwartz held the position of Head of Investor Relations at Waud Capital Partners and other private equity and infrastructure funds.

  • Brown Gibbons Lang & Company appointed William F. Farmer as a managing director in its Industrials vertical. Based in Washington, D.C., Farmer will lead BGL’s newly formed Aerospace, Defense & Government Services investment banking team. He brings over 25 years of experience in aerospace and defense, intelligence, and engineering, including his most recent role leading investment banking activities for Stifel’s Aerospace, Defense & Government Services practice. Farmer has also held significant roles such as the head of government IT & technical services group at Jefferies and co-head of the Aerospace & Defense investment banking group at Lazard Freres.
  • Cboe Global Markets made several senior executive hires to boost its global expansion and drive future growth. Megan Goett joined as senior vice president and chief marketing officer, with responsibility for leading global branding and marketing strategy. She brings 20 years of experience in the financial services industry and previously held senior leadership roles, including managing director at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. Hatice Unal was appointed as senior vice president of infrastructure, overseeing the daily management of Cboe’s infrastructure groups and components. With over 20 years of electronic trading technology experience, she has held various technology leadership and strategy roles, most recently at Virtu Financial. Laura Fuson has joined as vice president of futures. Her role involves identifying growth opportunities in product development and distribution, particularly in the digital asset space. She served most recently as director of prime services and clearing, platform sales at SG Americas Securities. Jodie Gunzberg joined as head of strategic partnerships, with responsibilities including managing commercial arrangements with key stakeholders such as index providers and intellectual property owners. Before joining Cboe, she was managing director at CoinDesk Indices. Katherine Kirkpatrick has been appointed as chief legal officer of Cboe Digital, overseeing legal support for Cboe Digital’s trading and clearing venues. She previously served as general counsel at Maple Finance and was a partner at the global law firm King & Spalding.
  • Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, a global legal services provider for technology, life sciences and growth enterprises, named Curt Blake as senior of counsel in the firm’s Seattle office. Concurrently, the firm is launching a NewSpace industry group that will leverage Blake’s extensive experience as the co-founder and former CEO of Spaceflight, an integrated launch services provider and orbital transfer vehicle provider for small satellites. Over his tenure at Spaceflight, Blake played a key role in establishing a network of launch providers, including SpaceX, Rocket Lab, Roscosmos, Orbital, JAXA, Arianespace, and NSIL, in addition to fostering relationships with significant commercial, civilian, and defense-related clients.

Wealth Management

  • Certuity, an independent multi-family office specializing in comprehensive wealth management, legacy planning, and family office services, appointed Mariia Eroshin as its managing director for family office, foundations, and endowments. With over 20 years of experience working with ultra-high-net-worth families, foundations, endowments, and family offices, Eroshin brings a wealth of expertise to her new role, having held various leadership positions in family offices, including serving as senior vice president and private wealth advisor at UBS Financial Services and as director and private banker at Citi Private Bank, where she led  an ultra-high-net-worth team.
  • Skyline Wealth Management, a wealth management firm headquartered in Austin, Texas, named Sean Conti as its new CEO. With a career spanning 27 years, Conti brings extensive experience as a wealth manager, corporate trainer, and active participant in mergers and acquisitions within the industry.
