Adviser Investments, a leading independent wealth management firm, has a new name: RWA Wealth Partners. Under its new banner, the firm will offer its high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients an integrated suite of capabilities, including wealth management, tax advisory and planning services. The firm boasts more than $15 billion in total client assets under management and assets under advisement as of September 30, 2023.
The rebrand is the latest move in what has been an active few years for the fast-growing firm. In April of 2022, on the heels of a 2020 capital investment by private equity firm Summit Partners, the firm joined forces with Polaris Wealth Advisory Group creating a combined $10 billion enterprise. The following month, veteran business executive Mario Ramos took the reins as CEO. And, earlier this year, the firm completed a successful merger with Ropes Wealth Advisors.
“The RWA Wealth Partners team is focused on being the only wealth advisor our clients need,” Ramos said. “Our new brand reflects our deep commitment to integrated client service and to providing a comprehensive, coordinated experience delivered with the highest standards of care.”
The Boston-based RIA offers sophisticated financial planning and an open architecture investment management platform as part of a comprehensive wealth management solution.
RWA Wealth Partners Chief Investment Officer Tim Clift told Alternatives Watch that the firm prioritizes a “clients’ goals and risk profile as the first step in [an] investment recommendation process, including when considering alternative investments.”
“Our investment team provides our wealth advisors a thoughtfully curated selection of alternative strategies for clients seeking better risk adjusted returns, more diversification and income opportunities beyond conventional stock and bond markets,” Clift said. “We regard alternative investments as an increasingly vital component in qualified clients’ portfolios, given the expanding access and opportunities beyond traditional markets.”
The firm also offers tax services including preparation, planning and strategies through its wholly owned subsidiary, RWA Tax Solutions, LLC. Additionally, the firm provides clients access to broad trust and estate legal services through an exclusive relationship with Hall & Diana LLC.
“We believe high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals are increasingly seeking service providers who can address their wealth management, tax and estate needs comprehensively.” Michelle Knight, President of the firm’s Ropes Wealth Advisors division, said in a release, adding that the firm now is “well positioned to benefit from this trend, providing clients with a broad suite of solutions, alleviating the need to manage multiple relationships or stitch together services themselves.”
